Each tree begins its story in the nursery, where it receives the necessary care before being planted in the ground, within an agricultural model that prioritizes monitoring, planning, and consistency.

Because when the origin is handled with rigor,

Digital agriculture: precision tree by tree

At Arlés, technology allows us to care for each tree with an exceptional level of precision.

We have developed a plantation intelligence system that makes individual tracking possible from seed to oil. Through precision agriculture, we continuously monitor each tree, understanding its location, history, work carried out, performance, and productivity.

Each tree has a unique identification, which allows us to recognize its specific needs and intervene in an individualized, natural, and immediate way when necessary.

This traceability system gives us something invaluable: the ability to know the history of each tree throughout its entire cycle, from its origin to the oil it produces.

In addition, we process all the information captured in the plantation through data analysis tools, transforming it into key indicators, behavior graphs, and useful knowledge to make more precise, timely, and strategic decisions.

Extraction: protecting the oil without altering its essence

At Arlés, the extraction of cacay oil is a process designed to preserve the natural quality of each kernel as much as possible.

Everything begins with fruit processing, a stage in which mechanical shelling and controlled drying are carried out in less than 48 hours. Then the kernel is extracted, its moisture is reduced, and it is vacuum stored under dark and temperature-controlled conditions to protect the oil’s stability and value.

Once the raw material is in optimal condition, industrial extraction begins. The oil is obtained from the kernels through low-temperature screw presses, a method that helps preserve its fatty acid chains and its most valuable properties intact.

Finally, the oil goes through a mechanical process of decantation and filtration until a virgin cacay oil is obtained with the ideal purity, stability, and characteristics.
